Damn! What a wedding, what a couple… Jana and Marco’s wedding was the perfect laid-back wedding. Their love for this city, each other and the people closest to them made for such a special day.

They paid homage to Johannesburg with the most incredible views of the city from every single location. The ceremony was held at Northwards House, a historical 1904 building designed by Herbert Baker surrounded by lush greenery and heaps of history. The remainder of the day we spent in Maboneng exploring as many nooks and crannies as we possibly could. We were overwhelmed by the hospitality from shop owners throughout Maboneng and we would love to give a massive shout out to the owner or Al Lado as well as the guys and gals from The Bioscope for inviting us in for a few impromptu shots in their establishments. The Living Room served as the perfect crescendo to an already fantastic day. If you’re celebrating and you want everyone to celebrate with you, get married in Maboneng… It is fantastic.
